Activities

KAS Rutjuga is not just lying down and watching stars randomly. Remember, stars have been divided into patterns knows as Constellations and Asterisms.

Constellation is a group of stars that, when seen from Earth, form a pattern. The stars in the sky are divided into 88 constellations. Asterisms are subsets or sometimes supersets of constellations which build a constellation itself, or a group of stars, physically related or not.

Knowing the sky first, before observing it, leads to a different and unforgettable experience. Various activities make a starry night, something more astronomical and educational.

Night Sky Tour and Skywatching Tips

A guided tour of the night sky helps you better understand the real theme of Star Gazing, what we call Meaningful Stargazing. Finding prominent shapes in the sky and learning about them. Compare the sky with the one you see from your home.
